I think these are my favourite Energy Balls yet! Peanut Butter is one of my favourite ingredients to use in sweet treats, but please note that this recipe is not suitable for those on a Raw diet as Peanut Butter uses Roasted Peanuts!
You will need:
- 2/3 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup Gluten Free Oats
- 1/2 Cup Sunflower seed
- 1 Cup Raisins
- 2 Tbsp Agave Syrup
- 1 Bar of Raw Cacao
Agave Syrup is a great Vegan Alternative to Honey and Sunflower Seeds are extremely good for you, they are full of Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium!
Mix together the dry ingredients (Raisins, Oats & Sunflower Seeds).
Then add the Peanut Butter and Agave Syrup and mix vigorously using a spoon or mixer (you can also throw all of the ingredients into a food processor if you have one).
You will get a dough-like mixture, simply grab a small amount and roll it in your hands to make a ball shape.
My mixture made 15 energy balls (with a little bit left over in the bowl for me to taste test), simply pop them in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm before dipping in the Raw Cacao.
Raw Cacao is extremely good for you, I use Cacao Kapow from Creative Nature – Dairy & Sugar Free and packed with antioxidants! Simply melt the Cacao in a bowl on a low heat then start dipping your energy balls!
Once dipped, place the Energy Balls on a plate and pop them back in the fridge for about 10 minutes for the chocolate to set.

The balls last about a week in the fridge, but I will be impressed if they last longer than a few days once you taste them!
